At the invitation of the State Key Laboratory of Structural Chemistry, Prof. SUN Daofeng from Shandong University and Dr. LIANG Yucang from University of Tubingen, Germany, visited Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter (FJIRSM) on August 30, 2010. During their stay, Prof. SUN and Dr. LIANG delivered two seminar reports entitled “Researches on the superamolecular isomerism of organometallic complexes and the transformation from single crystals to single crystals” and “Periodic mesoporous silicon and its surface chemistry”, and carried out detailed discussion with the research staff of FJIRSM after the reports.
Dr. LIANG Yucang is now a senior scientist at Tubingen University, Germany. His main research Interests are syntheses and applications of periodic mesoporous silicon and organic silicon materials, nano-structures of Fischer-Tropsch catalysts, metal and metal oxide nanoparticles, and organometallic chemistry, and surface chemistry and coordination chemistry of periodic mesoporous materials. He has published more than 60 SCI research papers on some famous scientific journals such as Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Chem. Mater.,Chem. Eur. J., Chem. Commun., Inorg. Chem.,J. Mater. Chem. and Dalton Trans.
At present, Prof. SUN Daofeng is a doctoral supervisor at the College of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Shandong University. His research area covers the design and syntheses of functional metal-organic microporous materials and their applications in gas storage, material chemistry and supramolecular chemistry. Up to now, Prof. SUN has published more than 100 research papers on some internationally well-known scientific journals including J. Am. Chem. Soc., Chem. Eur. J., Chem. Commun., Dalton, and Inorg. Chem.
