At the invitation of the State Key Laboratory of Structural Chemistry, Prof. LUO Zhenghong from Xiamen University visited Fujian Institute of Research on the Structure of Matter (FJIRSM) on October 12, 2010. During his stay, Prof. LUO delivered a seminar report entitled “Reactor & process development technology in large chemical process and its application in the actual chemical engineering” and carried out detailed discussion with the research staff of FJIRSM.
Dr. LUO Zhenghong is now an associate professor and a doctoral supervisor with the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biological Engineering, Xiamen University. For many years, Prof. LUO has been mainly engaged in researches on chemical processes, chemical reaction kinetics, polymerization reactor and polymerization reaction engineering, design and syntheses of polymer materials in the field of chemical engineering and polymer materials. So far Prof. LUO has published nearly 90 research papers on some domestic and overseas scientific journals, submitted 15 items of application for National Invention Patent and got 6 authorized ones. Meanwhile, he also obtained 2 items of the second award at provincial level for his wonderful scientific achievement.
