附简介:
Richard Kelly carried out his undergraduate and post graduate education at University of Liverpool, UK, obtaining his PhD studying lanthanide catalysis under Professor Helen Aspinall. He joined the Royal Society of Chemistry’s editorial staff in 2004 and became Executive Editor of the RSC’s organic chemistry journals – including Organic & Biomolecular Chemistry and Natural Product Reports – in 2010. He is now Executive Editor of ChemComm and Chem Soc Rev. The Royal Society of Chemistry (RSC) publishes over 50 world-leading journals that span the core chemical sciences and related fields. Known for rigorous, fair peer review and fast publication times, RSC journals publish high-quality science from across the world, from original research articles to authoritative reviews. This talk from Richard Kelly (Executive Editor, ChemComm and Chemical Society Reviews) will present information on how RSC journal Editors handle submissions and key advice from editors on writing submissions, as well as information about RSC’s journals – in particular publications from China. Topics to talk about: • Does CC cover the subjects of your research well? (CC has the historic strength in traditional areas like organic and inorganic, but with growth in interdisciplinary field – energy and materials are now our two biggest topics) • Have you been aware of CSR proposal process and how you can submit?• To get to know your general view of CC and its IF,ranking and Nature Index affect that. To understand more about your citation behaviour.

附简介:
Dr. Guanqun Song received his Ph.D. in 2007 from the Research Center for Eco-Environmental Sciences of CAS. She has conducted collaborative research at Hong Kong Baptist University and postdoctoral research at the University of Texas in the United States. In 2009,she joined Science Press as the Managing Editor. In 2014,she joined the Royal Society of Chemistry. She is currently the Regional Publisher for China responsible for publishing and partnership development in China. AI has become more widely used in research, from predictive machine learning used decades ago to generative AI in recent years. This presentation is mainly about how generative AI is used in scientific writing, especially the guidelines and constraints for the application.
